Places To Train
We at ZeroKaos know how annoying fruitless training can be and we all know the feeling that some monster somewhere must have better experience. Well this is the purpose of this thread, If you have any suggestions of good monsters or generally good locations please post them here.
Please include the name of the monster, level, experience and hp ( If you are unsure please check with Hidden Street or MapleWiki both of which can be found under the links section). If the monster is class specific please state which class. When possible include an optimum level range for the monster. Below is an Example.
Name: Dreamy Ghost
Level: 100
HP: 68,000
Exp: 3,200
Common Location: Encounter with Buddah, Mushroom Shrine
Best Training: 70-120 priests, 85 - 130 warrior
Please Note that this thread is not to complain about the horrors of training but to offer advice to others
Hope we can use this to benefit everyone!

Re: Places To Train
Nickname: Skeles
Location: Leafre
HP/EXP: < 20
EXP: 4500, 4750
Recommended level: 110+
Brilliant place to train for all 4th level wizards, especially Bishops w/ Genesis.
Warriors have a fairly easy time here aside from the pot burn, expect to take about 4k magic damage from them at lower levels. As of 120+ I was personally taking closer to 3.3k though.
For other jobs, good luck surviving. I've seen some more advanced Shadowers and NLs about but training will be tough there for you >.<
*edit* Oh and how to get there! There is a mini dugeon two maps before the HT NPC Moria(?) If you can't figure out how to get there, best to ask Hidden Street: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Re: Places To Train
Hmm i'm not sure which way is better to express it, as a HP/EXP ratio, or just giving the figures. The ratios are sexy, but unless people are used to them it might just confuse

HP to EXP ration is less than 20, that means they have less than 20 hit points to every experience point they give you.
Note that Himes have a ratio of 21.25 HP/EXP so when you get past level 110 its faster to train at Skeles if your pretty well equipped. I tend to use HP/EXP ratios to rate training areas...
Oh I should also put:
Skeles - Mob Size: 3 - 4
Himes - Mob Size: 5 - 15!!! (Flat map FTW)
Oh and misc. info:
Himes - Beware Crow, can and will 1HKO most Maplers.
Re: Places To Train
Most sin snipe newties till lv 120
BUT !
The Best place for sin lv 85+ to get to 120 quicky is actually
NightShadow !!
hp: 70000
exp : 3600
Knockback : 0
Nightshadow map is located up in the crimsonwood castle, isolated and not crowded at all (dont have to fight for ch!!)
The knock back of the monster is 0, so basicly anything thing can push them back !
If you have dark sight 20 you will love this place. You can mob all of them with dark sight then avenger for the finish! Good exp and not boring like sniping newties !!!
And to add on top of it, nightshadow badges can be trade in for items like raven's claw (which can be forge into night raven claw (200m)) !

itsTree wrote::O how many NS badges would I need to make that claw?
u need to exchange it with the fat guy in crimson wood
the chance of obtaining raven claw is random
when u get raven claw u need like 10 dex crstal and 1 tao of shadow (Im not 100% sure recheck, but it's something like that) then u get a night raven's claw
Personal experience, i trained there since lv 90 - 130 exchanged badges like many times only got raven claw once most of the time i get 3.5m meso xD

Re: Places To Train
NS are sexy for dits as well. They hit about the same as himes but it's a load easier to avoid getting hit so good for when you're feeling poor. Plus as has been mention 50 badges often gets you mega mesos, and they drop dark and black crystal ores

Re: Places To Train
Nightshadowers = Warrior Hell
They have stupid high avoid and the spawn rate is a lot worse than himes. Just an FYI children
At level 85 you might want to consider Dual Ghost Pirates or Red Wyverns, just for a change of pace. DGPs drop Steelies and both maps are low - medium demand. In fact at DGPs you can normally cc between 2 channels.
I'll post more detail on them both when I can be bothered

Re: Places To Train
Going back on topic, I thought I post about the best place to train 30-
Monster: Zombie Mushrooms/Horny Mushrooms
Location: Mini Dugeon in Ant Tunnel II (Sleepywood)
The spawn here is insane and as it is a mini dugeon you cannot get KS'ed If you have any sort of mob move you can quite easily get to level 30 in one day here!

Re: Places To Train
Name: Truckers
HP: 3000
Exp:160 ( Per Kill )
Recommend Lvl : 40 ~ 50
Best Results With 2 times exp or up.
Location: Singapore - Suburban area 2
Very nice spot for Warriors
Start at the middle of the platforms and mob all of them into a group.
Then kill the mob.
After you finish with the middle, move up and do the same as above.
Do this about 2 times and there will be a massive mob at the bottom.
Go down and mob all the Truckers
Repeat the steps above for a Very Good Dose Of Exp.
WARNING: You will burn a lot of pots.
Since they do around 200 ~ 300 Dmg

Re: Places To Train
Not following the format but just wanted to post anyway:
For Arans, they can actually hit up training spots a lot faster than regular warriors...
5x - 8x
Wind Raiders
Once you have max drain this becomes potless training spot, I've seen some 5x here
Obviously KSers are heavy on this map though, not the best place to try to 2x
7x - 9x
Wolf Spiders
Pot drain can be pretty epic here but with max Full Swing + Combo Crit then you can pretty much destroy them. I find Snow charge helps alot in keeping them at bay (plus extra damage) and a few Toss points help a lot too!
8x - 11x
Himes
What is proper epic is that with Drain, Crit, Snow and "Rush", Arans are complete and utter pwnage at Himes O_o Get with any priest and your pretty much gonna be smashing through 9x in one day.
??? 100+ ???
Skeles
With Smart Knockback and Crit and Drain, I got a feeling Arans might actually be able to hack them. With a priest it would definitely be an excellent spot for both of u at 100+. This is confirmed though, but expect pot drain to be insane at that lvl lol

Re: Places To Train
Name: Typhon
Level: 100
HP: 56,000
EXP: 3200
Location: Crimsonwood Keep: Path of Peril
Recommended levels:i started when my CB was 85, never looked back. i dont know for other classes.
Typhons are like a step down from Himes/Dreamy Ghosts. They give same exp while dealing less damage, and i like gaining money, instead of tossing mesos down a hole when at himes. They fly, so they mob less, leading to less exp. with a little work, these guys are some of the best exp to be had high 80s to low 100s. I personally got my CB to 100 from 90 in a week here.
