Aran Skill Build? Empty Aran Skill Build?

Anyone got tips for an aran skill build?

i mean for the first job it seems obvious that you should get combo, double swing, and booster maxed out and leave step at lvl 10
but for some stupid reason i want to max out step >_>

HS says that past level 15 booster doesn't increase your attack speed anymore (capped at 3).

So if you could survive with 50 seconds less booster, you can max out Step. Which incidently I would DEFINITELY do, faster moving between mobs = Pwnage exp > Casting Booster less.

Well you're not stupid, I wonder if we're going off topic by doing this?

Anyway, on topic:
Get 5 Double Swing
Get 1 Step?
Get 10 Double Swing
Get Combo?!?

I think getting 1 Step and Combo asap is good right? I haven't thought about it alot.

aran has some wierd stuff where you cant learn skills until lvl 13 quests or something, i would get combo asap, save up 10 SP to get it instantly and double swing to build it faster?

Combo requires 10 Double Swing, its impossible to get it at lvl 13.

Not to mention the fact that would mean lvling up from 10 to 13 would be hell.

so yea, anyone wanna start with the 2nd job build for aran? so far i got

lvl 30 triple swing (1)
lvl 31 2 triple swing (3) 1 mastery (1)
lvl 37 18 mastery (19)
lvl 45 1 drain (1) 20 combo smash (20) (save points from lvl 38)

and i know im definately gonna get some flamage from mont saying that my build is stupid but w/e, im just startng it off o.O

Your Paladin build was stupid, that build is fine. Few points to note though:

Your build is missing 3 points?
Instead of getting 1 Drain at lvl 45, get it at level 38!
Imho Body Pressure > Drain cause it keeps ur combo going and is more helpful than minor healage in CPQ (Stun much?)
Spare points you missed would be better spent on Triple Swing?

My current/planned build:

30 - 1 TS
31 - 3 TS, 1 Mastery
...
37 - 19 Mastery (add mastery)
38 - 20 Mastery, 5 TS
39 - 1 BP, Save 2 (2)
40 - Save 3
...
45 - 20 Combo Smash
46 - 8 TS <--- This is where I am now
47 - 4 BP
48 - 11 TS
49 - 14 TS
50 - 17 TS
51 - 20 TS <--- Max TS for when you leave CPQ

... Not sure after this ... I figure get Drain maxed, get 1 "Rush" asap... *shrug*

yea my build probably is missing 3 points, i only spent 2 minutes thinking about it
and yea, drain at lvl 38, i figured everyone wouldve gotten that but i guess some ppl wouldnt have noticed

It's a little complicated, but here is what BP does as I understand it:

1) When you cast BP, you can deal touch damage just like monsters do to us. The damage is calculated as a % of ur attack. At max level the touch damage you deal is 100% of your attack.

2) Whenever you do deal touch damage, it counts as an attack of your combo goes up. This is VERY handy cause it keeps your combo going when you are looting/stunned = CPQ heaven.

3) Finally, whenever you attack a monster (through touch damage or attacking skills or w.e), you get a chance to "seal" that monster. That is they get that funny blue symbol above their head. This means that the monster no longer deals touch damage to ANYONE!!! (or anyone in ur party, not sure). However I do believe that it also seal's ur touch damage, that is you can't deal touch damage for as long as the monster can't... (Not 100% on this one, might just be you can't deal touch damage to THAT monster).
