Your reaction to Aran?

I'll start by telling you mine:
I liked how they introduced Aran, it was a cool way to make a new class in Maple. I would like Aran a lot more if I had the time to play it, right now I feel as if I'm being forced to make one to get that stupid ring >.>. I thought it would be a bit more difficult to control, but from playing it it's actually quite simple. Going from a hermit to a first job Aran is agonizing though; the speed difference kills me when I'm walking through towns. To me, my Aran is a little side project to work on. I probably won't give him a lot of funding, and I definitely won't make it my main.

What's your thoughts/reactions about Aran now that it's released?

Aran is a fun class with great deilvery, the story is mildy interesting. And the class is just fun to play.

when i go back to playing wing, im going to end up playing him completely wrong >_>

Lol @ wing. The whole 3 hours I played my Aran, I couldn't stop thinking how badly I wanted to FJ across Lith Harbor.

Once you get decent Combat Step you can move at a semi decent rate, if you CS off ledges you FLY.

Once mine is level 70 I'm pretty much done, it's quite a hard class to use and I can easily imagine once you get all the special combos that you could get cramp (you guys call it Carpel Tunnel?) within a few hours of grinding. Right now my priorities are Mont, Aurora and Cryo in that order.

Ever since pirates it seems the new jobs coming out have been more and more overpowered. Now it seems they really have brought out the ultimate CQC type though. Aran is, quite simply put, godly.

I know what you mean, at least cygnus went to only level 120, what's the drawback on Arans? (Difficult gameplay possibly?)

Speaking of new classes, how do you think Evan will compare to Arans?

The drawback to Arans are few but one is that can be nightmare to train. The reason I think this is that you need to sustain your combo and at high levels you are going to struggle to find super high spawn maps to easily do that. Having said that, can you imagine how easy it would be for an Aran to tear through Himes from like 90 - 120? Im doubtful about how easy it is nearer to level 200...

I know nothing about Evan, that sounds like a really silly name?!?

My lvl 47 Aran (Highest lvl Aran in the guild as of 16-12-09 2pm GMT) hits 4k-5k damage to 10 monsters using combo smash

BUt in all seriousness, very nice job on getting max Combo Smash, thats be some crazy damage at lvl 47. That's like 50k total O_o

Ok being serious to the topic, I very much liked the beginning where I was level 200, but same with Tre, I'm more interested in getting Mango to Lvl 100 right now, since it's CHRISTMAS BREAK I WILL BE ON MORE OFTEN YAY. Praise meee!

aran lvl 50+ very very strong and i think its stronger than all warrior class

Just when i thought Wizet couldn't break the game again they did, and it was called Aran.

its an alright class i guess. I hate how all new classes are gonna be so strong, Evan is a decent class pretty much what new class should be not just wildly super strong, which is pretty much the formula for Arans+Dual Bladers.
